At his 4 month checkup Kyle weighed 11.94 lbs which is still in the 8th percentile and is now 24.75 inches long which is in the 57th percentile. He is longer than the average height of 24 inches but much smaller than the average weight of 14.4 lbs!
He is growing up way too fast. I think he is just a little baby still but then I see newborns and he is already so big. He goes to a new sitter now. She is a Columbian lady in our neighborhood that has been doing childcare for 25+ years. She is great but Kyle doesn't sleep very much at her house and I worry about that. We also started him on formula because he is starting to eat more than I can make! It took a few days and some trickery but he will finally eat formula (Similac Sensitive only). It is rough on his tummy but he is getting more used to it. He also got his first cold (thanks to his mommy) so now he snores at night and it's pretty adorable.
Here he is splashing in the tub. Only 4 months old and he can already soak me and the entire bathroom. He perfected these exact moves in utero every night while I was trying to go to sleep.
He is growing and learning so fast. Just a few weeks ago he started playing with his hands and now he plays with them all of the time and can grab anything you put in front of him. Of course everything he gets his hands on goes straight to his mouth. He is such a smart boy.
This is his precious giggle. He won't laugh if he can see the camera so I had to lay it down to capture his priceless little laugh.
